The Outcast

Graphic and Motion Design

Hey there! I’m Daisy, a graphic designer who specializes in motion design and illustration. I approach design as a form of storytelling, thoughtfully considering the emotional impact and underlying narrative in my process. Drawing from my background in traditional art, I’ve learned that its core principles can play a vital role in shaping the process and enriching the symbolism of a design.

Through Outcast Creative, I’m committed to staying organized and working collaboratively, tailoring each project to its distinct needs. Outside of my design practice, I like to paint, read (comic books and graphic novels), watch walking tours of popular cities, and spend time with my cats!

What we do

  • Visuals are the first impression for a consumer so I strive to create cohesive and personable brand identities.

  • I can create layouts and designs for printed and digital publications. I can prepare files for printing and layers for collaboration.

  • Conveying a message to a target audience is crucial and achieving this requires the right combination of copywriting and visuals. I can create illustrations, copywriting, motion graphics and aid in ideation.

  • I can create storyboards, direct voice actors, work on sound and video editing, and render 2d and 3d animations in Adobe After Effects.

  • Whether it’s a traditional drawing or a digital vector illustration, I can replicate a wide range of illustration styles. My process involves a detailed analysis of the style and I strive to re-create it with precision and care.

  • I consider the needs of the client and the needs of the user to create a successful user experience. My focus is on accessibility and visual appeal.

“I think a successful design is when a consumer or a user engages with the design in a meaningful way”
